Alexander MacDonald

Alexander MacDonald joined the portfolio management team at GlobeInvest Capital Management in 2021 with over a decade of experience in fundamental equity analysis and investment management.

Alexander is a CFA charterholder, has an MBA degree from the Ivey Business School, and has an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering from St. Francis Xavier University/Dalhousie University. After working as a professional engineer, he transitioned into the financial services industry with a role in equity research and analysis at a major banking institution. Prior to joining GlobeInvest, he spent eight years on the portfolio management team of an independent asset management firm.
